Upholstery and curtain fabrics for interior projects in Lisbon

Lisbon has Atlantic light: bright, clean, reflected off the river and the white and tiled facades of the hills. Winters are mild and rainy, summers hot with a sea breeze. Apartments in Chiado, Príncipe Real and Lapa have tall windows and old floors; the light fades colour quickly, so curtains need light fastness and upholstery near a window needs to hold its shade.

Studios work on renovated apartments for international buyers, on boutique hotels and guesthouses in Alfama and along the river, on restaurants, on villas in Cascais and Sintra. Portugal's textile industry, concentrated in the north around Porto and Guimarães, makes local collections easy to reach, and international fabrics complete the palette.

Fabric Library, Al Guthmi, Pierre Frey and Ultrafabrics are the four mills at launch. A cutting from a Lisbon showroom or a Portuguese mill arrives within days; samples from the Gulf mills travel by courier and take longer. Colour is confirmed on a physical sample in the room, under its bright light, before an order.

WEAVRA searches these collections by measured colour, material, wear and use, keeps the fabrics that hold in one selection, and prints an A4 presentation under the WEAVRA name. Specifications come from the mill; the order and the price stay between the studio and the mill.
